Pilea peperomioides 'Sugar' keeps the familiar coin-leaf shape of Chinese Money Plant but adds a fine, frosted speckling of white to silvery marks across the rounded blades. Instead of broad white patches, the variegation appears as dusting, flecks, and light veils over green tissue, giving each leaf a quieter, more detailed look. The plant still grows upright on long petioles and gradually produces pups from the base, usually reaching around 20–30 cm before widening with offsets.
Bright, filtered light keeps it compact, while harsh direct sun can mark the palest areas first. Use an airy, fast-draining substrate, water only after the upper layer has dried, and keep conditions steady to avoid yellow leaves, soft stems, or greener shoots gradually overtaking the frosted growth.
